Dynamic typographic identities for a series of modern art exhibitions
Collected by the founders of Gap Inc. since the mid-1970s, the Fisher Collection is among the world’s greatest private collections of contemporary art and was put on display for the general public in 2016 at SFMOMA.
I designed the graphics for the inaugural Fisher exhibitions ranging from single artist shows to broad surveys covering seminal works around specific themes.
Each show featured it’s own distinctive typographic treatment to introduce museum-goers to the theme of the exhibition.
Along with other opening SFMOMA exhibitions, the Fisher Collection exhibition identities were recognized as a finalist for the SEGD Global Design Award 2017.
