Dynamic graphic identities for modern art exhibitions

Exhibition identities tie curatorial themes to audience experience and often require a brand approach to apply to signage, marketing and store products.

At SFMOMA, I had the opportunity design or art direct the visual identities for numerous exhibitions. Through a process of dialogue, research, collaboration, and iteration, each show features it’s own distinctive typographic treatment to introduce museum-goers to the concept of the exhibition. From single artist shows like Yayoi Kusama: Infinite Love to broad surveys around specific themes like Art of Noise, this is a collection of some of this work.
