IDEO.org Amplify
A branding and web design project to signal the bold mission for an international non-profit

Amplify is a 5 year, 10 challenge program created by the non-profit IDEO.org to reinvent the way that international aid works by activating aid recipients to collaborate on projects rather than through direct aid.
I was asked to create a coherent identity and website that would signal Amplify’s bold mission yet also feel accessible to its audience of individuals and small NGO’s in the social impact sector.
For the design solution, I leveraged the strong photography taken in the field by Ideo.org designers. The Amplify logo intensifies and layers color over photos, strengthening and activating the images, just as the Amplify program strengthens and activates the existing communities they work with.
The website used parallax scrolling and is responsive to work on both desktop and mobile. In addition to the branding and visual design for the website, I created the style guide, and templates for print and email collateral.
