The Bear's Sea Escape
Cover design for a charming illustrated children’s book
This oversize seek & find picture book follows the adventure of a runaway bear cub through the streets of Paris to a tropical island by the incomparable Benjamin Chaud. I developed two cover options for the world English translation by collaging Chaud's original illustrations. The final cover chosen by the author and American publisher featured an underwater scene that conveyed the concept of sea adventure most strongly and aligned with the first book in the series more closely.
